h) Matomo

(1) Scope and description of the processing of personal data

Our website uses the web analytics service Matomo, an open source solution.

Matomo stores cookies on your terminal device that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information collected in this way is stored exclusively on our server, namely the following data:

  • two bytes of the IP address of the calling system of the user
  • the requested web page
  • the website from which the user has reached the accessed website (referrer)
  • the subpages that are called from the called web page
  • the length of stay on the website
  • the frequency with which the website is accessed

Our website uses Matomo with the setting "Anonymize Visitors' IP addresses". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, thus excluding the possibility of direct personal reference. The software is set so that the IP addresses are not stored in full, but 2 bytes of the IP address are masked (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx). In this way, an assignment of the shortened IP address to the calling computer is no longer possible. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us.

(2) Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The legal basis for the processing of the user's data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO or § 15 para. 3 TMG.

(3) Purposes of the processing

(4) Duration of storage

The data of the processing described here will be deleted after a storage period of 90days.

If you do not want Sendinblue to analyze your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message.

Data analysis by Sendinblue

With the help of Sendinblue, it is possible for us to analyze our newsletter campaigns. For example, we can see whether a newsletter message was opened and which links, if any, were clicked. In this way, we can determine, among other things, which links were clicked on particularly often.

Sendinblue also allows us to subdivide ("cluster") the newsletter recipients based on different categories. In doing so, the newsletter recipients can be subdivided according to the selection of the desired newsletters. In this way, the newsletters can be better adapted to the respective target groups.

This allows a direct connection to be established between your browser and the Weglot server when you visit this website. Weglot thereby receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Appropriate consent is requested via the cookie and data protection settings of the website. Without this data, it would not be technically possible in part to deliver and display the contents of the software. In addition, the processing of this data is mandatory for security reasons, in particular for access, input and transfer and storage control. Furthermore, the anonymous information can be used for statistical purposes as well as for the optimization of the offer and the technology. In addition, the log files can be subsequently controlled and evaluated in the event of suspicion of illegal use of the software. The

General data collected includes the domain name of the website, the web browser and web browser version, the operating system, the user's session ID, and the timestamp of access to the software. All data entered by the user when using the Funnel (e.g. answering form fields; using interactive components) are assigned to the user by means of a session ID and made available to the operator of this website. The operator of this website is responsible for the deletion, storage and further processing of this personal data in accordance with current legislation.

Use of cookies
So-called cookies are used in the Funnel. These are small text files that are stored on the device with which you access these funnels. The cookies used serve to ensure security when visiting a website ("absolutely necessary"), to implement certain functionalities such as standard language settings ("functional") and to improve the user experience or performance on the website ("performance"). Within the Funnel, strictly necessary, functional and performance cookies are used, in particular to implement certain default settings such as the language, to store given answers even in case of poor internet connection or to analyze the performance of a Funnel and the used channel through which a user has reached this Funnel. The use of cookies is mandatory for the provision of our services and thus for the fulfillment of the contract (Art. 6 (1) b) DS-GVO). Storage period: Up to 1 month or until the end of the browser session Right to object: You can determine yourself via your browser settings whether you want to allow cookies or object to the use of cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may result in limited or completely disabled functionality of the Funnel. The operator of this website has the possibility to decide individually for each Funnel used, which decision options for the use of cookies are given to the user. It is within the responsibility of the website operator to use cookies in accordance with the applicable legal restrictions. If the website operator uses extensions from external companies within the funnels, it is the responsibility of the website operator to inform the user about this.

If personal data is processed by Perspective Software GmbH as the controller, you as the data subject have, depending on the legal basis and purpose of the processing, certain rights under Chapter III of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including, where applicable, the right to information (Art.15 DS-GVO), right to rectification (Art.16 DS-GVO), right to erasure (Art. 17 DS-GVO), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DS-GVO), right to data portability (Art. 20 DS-GVO), right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO).
